Abstract: VisIC Technologies’ D³GaN technology (Direct Drive D-Mode) has proven its usability in automotive traction inverters, showcasing its effectiveness in meeting KPIs such as efficiency, high current capability, robustness, and cost performance. The superiority of D³GaN over other technologies, such as Silicon and Silicon Carbide, has been demonstrated in high-performance traction inverters for 400V battery systems. The gate-robustness and repetitive overvoltage robustness of D³GaN technology has been proven especially crucial for inductive loads in automotive inverters. Further insights into the performance and advantages of VisIC Technologies’ D³GaN will be presented at this session, providing an opportunity for engaging with the VisIC team during the event to discuss the technology in detail.
