IsCham strives to promote Israeli businesses in China and to serve Israeli companies and individuals – whether they are already conducting business in China or wish to take their first steps in this important market. IsCham was launched during the Olympic games in August 2008, by the Israeli President, his Excellency Mr. Shimon Peres. Though a non-governmental organization, IsCham works in collaboration with the Israeli embassy in Beijing and enjoys the full support of the Israeli Ambassador, Mr. Zvi Heifetz and the Trade Mission to China.
